In 2015 the Gemfields 2022 Community Reference Group was formed when a group of passionate individuals rose to the challenge of representing the Gemfields communities of Sapphire, Rubyvale, Anakie and Willows.

Today, members work with community, government, business and industry to partner in advancing initiatives and planning for the future of their community.
