Thank you to everyone who got involved in this consultation. The Sport and Open Space plan was endorsed by council at the end of 2021 and can be found on the right-hand side of the page (or bottom of the page on a mobile device).
Do you have a vision for the future of sport and open spaces in the region?
Central Highlands Regional Council is reviewing and updating the Sport and Open Space Plan to identify our future priorities. To do this, we are seeking community input on what you think sport and recreation should look like in the region over the next ten years.
Your feedback will be considered as we develop a plan which will allow for informed decision making on the development, delivery and maintenance of sport and recreation spaces.
Get Involved
1. Take a survey. Two surveys have been developed to gain an understanding of the issues and opportunities for sport, recreation and open space in the region. The community survey is for general members of the public and the club survey is for formal sport and recreation groups.
2. Attend one of the consultations listed on the right-hand side of the page. Click on the consultation to view the location and time of each event. Please RSVP by emailing SportAndRec@chrc.qld.gov.au or phoning 4986 8467 by 14 May 2021 to secure your place.
