Are you interested in learning more about art galleries or event management?
Central Highlands Regional Galleries is developing a Volunteer Working Group to assist in our galleries in Emerald and Springsure.
The group will be facilitated by council's Arts & Culture Officer - Galleries.
They will have the opportunity to assist in the following areas:
hanging and uninstalling exhibitions
exhibition planning
opening nights and events
facilitating workshops and art activities in the gallery
opening outside of business hours on weekends
Volunteer Working Group members can select areas of interest to become involved in. There is no obligation to take part in all areas and no set time commitment. You can have as much or as little involvement as you like!
How to get involved
If you are interested in volunteering with the Central Highlands Galleries, please fill out the Expression of Interest survey below. Hard copy forms will be available at the council offices, transaction centres and libraries across the region.
