Consultation has concluded

Central Highlands Regional Council are upgrading the playground equipment at Lions Park, Emerald.

This upgrade is part of council's commitment to strengthening and maintaining healthy communities.

Community members, especially children, are invited to give feedback.

    In November and December 2018, council sought feedback on three playground designs, to see what features are important to the local community.

    We held an online consultation and a drop-in session at Lions Park in Emerald to receive feedback directly.

    During this process our Community Recreation and Facilities Team received detailed feedback on the playground, which will inform the final playground design.

    Construction is expected to commence January - February 2019.
