Consultation has concluded

Central Highlands Regional Council hold community consultations across the Central Highlands each year.

They are an open forum for locals to connect with councillors and council staff, receive updates on key projects, ask questions and discuss any matters relating to the community and council.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the community consultation process?

These engagements are hosted by the Mayor, councillors and council staff. They provide an opportunity for residents to ask questions or raise concerns, and receive updates on projects in their area. We advertise these opportunities on our website(External link) and Facebook page(External link).

Why is there an online consultation process?

The feedback submitted on the Have Your Say, Central Highlands website leading up to the planned engagements ensures the process is inclusive and enables the Mayor, councillors, and council staff to attend the consultations with key information at hand.

Are there other ways to give feedback?

There are a number of ways to get in contact with us (learn more(External link)). The Customer Request Management (or CRM) process allows community members to report a problem, make a request, or give feedback at any time.
