Is this a suitable location for a skate park?
Council is aware that a new skate park is a high priority for the Blackwater community. As a result, funding has been allocated for a skate park design. Council will seek community feedback in February 2019 to inform the design process. The location for this new facility has not yet been determined. Due to the history of the old Blackwater pool site, it is not considered a culturally appropriate location. Council will continue to explore options.
