Members of the Duaringa community have proposed that Council re name the Duaringa Community Centre to the ‘Carol Finger Community Centre’.
This is to honour local resident Carol Finger who has dedicated much of her life to the Duaringa Community and surrounding Central Highlands communities. Carol’s commitment to her community shows how important she believes it is to give back to her community with the hope that it will become a better one for the next generation.

The outcome of the re-naming request and subsequent decision by council will be based on the outcome of the survey and feedback.
