36 Rosalie Lucke - Standing Tall - Beside the highway on the way to Injune, near the turnoff to Lake Nuga Nuga stands a copse of majestic gum trees. They line both sides of the bitumen as it readies itself to snake up through the ranges. I love how big and grand the trees are and how the sun filters through their leaves in the late afternoon, casting shadows on the road. I always feel a sense of awe when I pass them and feel humbled by their strength and size. If you stop and listen, you can almost hear the spirits of the land whispering and wrapping around you.
